Here is a little history about the Emerald cut Tennis Bracelet.. We hope you enjoy!

The Emerald Cut Diamond Tennis Bracelet

This legacy accessory was first called an eternity bracelet. This bracelet style rose to fame in the Roaring 20s. Women of that era would regularly wear it along with their beautiful dresses, as they attended elaborate parties and occasions.

Legend has it that the tennis bracelet originally got its name from an iconic moment in a tennis game. During a 1978 US Open tennis tournament, the American player Chris Evert stopped in the middle of a match as she discovered her diamond line bracelet had fallen off as she played. She then referred to the piece as her tennis bracelet in a post-match interview. Thereafter, the line bracelet was called the tennis bracelet worldwide.

Our Silvi bracelet is a knockout whether you’re actually playing tennis or just enjoying a night out on the town. Any simulated diamond bracelet in our collection is stunning enough to wear for that special occasion or comfortable enough to wear every day.

The Design of the Emerald Cut Diamond Tennis Bracelet

The emerald cut design generates stunningly beautiful multi-hued reflections. As the wrist turns, the ambient light plays across the stones and yields a brilliant rainbow of colors.

This special cut is an octagon with four corners and four sides. The horizontal stepped facets with a large table ensure the best display of the stone. The pavilion also has stepped horizontal facets.

Historically, two of the emerald’s sides would be longer, creating a look that is more rectangular. But in the early 1900s, Joseph Asscher created the Asscher cut, or the now popular square-shaped emerald cut like you see on the gorgeous Silvi bracelet. This new take on a classic design element features a play on geometric shapes and space that captures light for that extra sparkle and bling.
